BFT Keilor is hiring If you’re ready to commit to an established gym with a growing member base, we want to hear from you. BFT Keilor is looking for a casual coach with a minimum availability of two afternoons and two mornings a week to join our team. You need to be able to talk the talk and walk the walk with our members. You’ll seamlessly transition into our space, using your background in group coaching classes to convert individuals into long term members. Using your skills to coach members to achieve their fitness goals. Position : Casual Coach Rate : $35-$40 p/h About BFT Body Fit Training (BFT) is a scientifically-backed, community-driven group training facility that combines elements of personal training with the energy of group fitness. Our programs are designed to challenge every energy system and muscle fiber type, ensuring comprehensive fitness development for our members. Position Overview As a BFT Coach, you are responsible for delivering high-energy, technically sound group fitness sessions, while also building strong member relationships and fostering a positive community environment. You motivate, coach, and provide technical feedback to members, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience. Working with the Studio Manager and Head Coach, you contribute to studio operations, including member recruitment and retention, and participate in community events and challenges. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-designed BFT group training sessions, ensuring exercises are performed safely and effectively Foster a supportive and energetic class atmosphere that encourages member engagement and retention Maintain a strong understanding of BFT programming and the unique features of each session type Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities Ensure the studio is clean, organized, and equipped before each session Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally Build rapport with members, understanding their needs, and providing guidance and support Lead by example in your own training, preparation, and attitude Support team members and contribute to a positive team culture Requirements Certificate III and IV in Fitness (or equivalent) Current First Aid and CPR certifications Previous experience in group fitness or personal training settings (Experience with BFT programming desirable) Strong understanding of functional training and strength-based programs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to achieve their fitness goals Commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive training environment Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends What We Offer Access to ongoing training and professional development Supportive team environment with opportunities for career advancement Complimentary BFT membership for you and a family member/friend Staff mentorship and development days Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Part-time Job function Job function Other Industries Health, Wellness & Fitness Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at BFT International by 2x Get notified about new Coach jobs in Keilor, Victoria, Australia .
