Overview Volunteer - Calvary Kogarah Hospital at Calvary Health Care. Join a compassionate, mission-driven health care team to provide comfort, dignity, and support to people when they need it most. What You'll Do Welcome & Support – Greet visitors, assist new patients, help them settle in, and offer a friendly cuppa Companionship – Spend time with patients through conversation, reading, or gentle activities Rehabilitation & Wellness – Assist in the rehab gym or with gentle massage therapy Admin – Help with administration Biography Writing – Support patients in sharing their life stories Jolly Trolley – Deliver refreshments and brighten someone’s day Special Projects – Wig library, equipment loans, or join our Auxiliary or become a Consumer Representative What You’ll Need Warm, friendly personality and good communication skills Reliability and initiative Two references NSW Health immunisation compliance (Category A or B depending on role) To undergo a National Police Check WWCC (for community-based roles) Completion of mandatory training About Calvary Health Care Kogarah Established in 1966, Calvary Health Care Kogarah is a 99-bed rehabilitation, palliative care, and community care organisation serving the St George and Sutherland Shire regions.
