ADF Rehabilitation Consultant (Registered Nurse) Join to apply for the ADF Rehabilitation Consultant (Registered Nurse) role at Acumen Health Overview Be part of the team that gets our military fully fit, ready to defend and protect Australia. Nurses bring a unique and valuable insight in supporting the ADF return to wellness. As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will draw upon your clinical skills to support people throughout their rehab journey. You will be rewarded with real tangible outcomes as a vital link helping the ADF achieve specific health goals to return to service. Responsibilities Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals Apply nursing knowledge to facilitate a return-to-wellness plan Case management — implementing and monitoring rehabilitation plans Complete initial assessments and perform worksite reviews What Will Make You Successful Current unrestricted registration or membership with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Tertiary qualifications in Nursing Case Management Experience with professional documentation and/or report writing Strong clinical reasoning Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal Passion to help people rehabilitate Additional Professional Background (Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors, Osteopaths or Social Workers with appropriate professional registration are also encouraged to apply) Hours, Location and Schedule Set working hours support work/life balance with no overtime or outside-of-work hours work. Early starts and early finishes: 7:30am – 3:30pm. Location: RAAF Base Edinburgh. Options for a 4- or 5-day week. Onboarding and Support Joining a high-quality service provider, you will be supported and mentored through direct interaction and an extensive onboarding process (including ongoing shadowing) to build your technical knowledge and set you up for success.
