Library and Customer Experience Officer (Casual)Careers in Councils SA – Roxby Downs SACasual/TemporaryFixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) - up to Full-time - 76 hours per fortnight.The Municipal Council of Roxby Downs is seeking an Administration and Human Resources Support Officer to join the Roxby Link team.Reporting to the Group Manager, Lifestyle, Sport and Community, the primary objective of this role will be to lead the Administration team, support the Human Resources function, and provide backup support to the Return to Work Coordinator.To be successful in this role, you will have:Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.Strong numeracy skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail.Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations in a discreet and confidential manner.Mature, positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.Understanding of accounting concepts associated with debtors and creditors is desirable.Understanding of Local Government is desirable.Understanding of Enterprise Agreements is desirable.Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential with the ability to learn new programs quickly.Sound knowledge of administrative processes in an office environment.Experience in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, databases, and word-processing.Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant experience is essential.Return To Work coordinator training is essential (or willing to obtain).Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain).ABOUT USWhat we offer:Family friendly, flexible work environment.Housing and Utilities Allowance (as listed in the Enterprise Agreement).Income Protection Insurance.Additional 3 days of leave per year to cover the Christmas break (Grace Leave).3 days of compassionate leave per instance.Access to Council's Health and Wellness program, including free skin checks, flu vaccinations, health assessments and other workshops and programs as they become available.Paid maternity leave.Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.Applications must consist of a cover letter and resume telling us why you are the best applicant for this role.
