Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled transformation professional to join our dynamic team in the heart of Sydney CBD. As a Finance Transformation Analyst at IPH, you will support global finance transformation initiatives and work cross-functionally and cross-regionally to assess, design, and support the rollout of standardized and optimized finance processes and systems. This role requires a proactive individual with hands‑on experience in process mapping, system implementations, and designing target operating models (TOMs). Our hybrid policy offers the opportunity to work both in‑office and from home, offering flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the business transformation journey. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with regional finance teams and global stakeholders to analyse current‑state processes and identify improvement opportunities. Develop detailed process maps (As‑Is and To‑Be) using BPMN or similar methodologies and incorporating control & security frameworks. Support the design and implementation of target operating models aligned with strategic business goals. Assist in the implementation of finance systems (ERP, automation tools), including data migration, UAT, and training support. Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders across various time zones to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive consensus. Prepare documentation such as business requirements, SOPs, training guides, and change impact assessments. Provide project support for transformation workstreams, including tracking milestones and issue resolution. Work closely with technology, finance, and change management teams to ensure cohesive execution. Maintain a focus on process efficiency, control, and scalability. About You 5+ years’ experience in finance transformation, business analysis, or finance operations. Proven track record in process mapping, re‑engineering, and optimisation within finance functions. Familiarity with APQC Frameworks. Strong knowledge of financial processes (e.g., Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash). Proven experience working on global ERP and/or financial system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dynamics365, Anaplan etc). Familiarity with Target Operating Model optimisation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. Comfortable working across multiple time zones and in a virtual team environment. Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Miro), Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project). Prior leadership in change management or finance operating model transitions. Experience in hybrid delivery environments. Flexibility to work early mornings/late evenings on occasion to accommodate global stakeholders (APAC, Americas). Travel may be required.
