We take pride in our focus on safety, while driving a strong people-focused culture to make transformations toward a sustainable and smart future.About the roleReporting to the Senior Pipeline Corrosion Engineer, the purpose of the role is to safely, and efficiently execute field services for Verbrec’s Infrastructure Services operated pipelines as well as pipelines operated by the external clients. These services include Cathodic Protection Surveys, DCVG surveys, CIPS, interference testing, CP Design, installation and commissioning, fault finding and risk mitigation. These services are done:To the highest level of safety, environment, community & stakeholder requirementsTo meet agreed quality, operability, schedule and cost targets andIn strict accordance with the relevant statutory & regulatory guidelines.About youTo be successful in this role, you will ideal have:NACE CP2 minimum, CP3 highly regardedRestricted electrical licence requiredAn Engineering degree (essential) in materials or electrical will be highly regarded .Experience within the oil & gas industry is also highly regarded specifically in the areas of pipeline inspection and maintenanceA safety-first approachExperience working in remote areasAbility to work unsupervisedA high level of electrical aptitude and willingness to develop on a diverse range of skillsGood communications skills, both written and oralSound computer skillsExperience with communicating with landowners and key stakeholders.The new Verbrec
