Full Time Educator Role Available at our Fremantle School We’re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new, state-of-the-art early learning school in Fremantle. With one highly successful school already established in Perth since 2018, we’re now looking for a dynamic Educator for our second location Benefits Work in a beautiful, purpose-built environment with ample resources. Highly competitive remuneration package ranging from $33/hr to $35/hr depending on qualifications and experience. Discounted childcare fees Shifts available that range from 6.30am – 6pm. Walking distance to the Fremantle train station and transport links and be financially rewarded for walking/using public transport to arrive/go home. The option to work a 9-day fortnight after a 6-month period Two paid Wellness Days a year in addition to Annual Leave Earn $1,000 if you refer a friend to work at the Akidamy Incentive package including employee discounts on bring brands, School social events each quarter, Yoga and Mindfulness activities on site, Wellbeing Wednesday, as well as a School focus on supporting wellbeing Have opportunities to learn more through Professional Development and mentoring. Experience Needed Previous substantial experience (2 years minimum) working in an early childhood setting ideally in a under 4yrs environment Completed a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care An ability to plan innovative and engaging child-initiated curriculums, incorporating both indoor and outdoor environments, sustainability and nature play Be able to document children’s learning and development to a high standard to make children’s learning visible An open mindset that is positive and adaptable to change You will receive at least 2 hrs/week to create curriculum and do your observations. Our school is beautiful, and purpose built enhanced with digital technology, and has lots of resources including two designated Ateliers and a Yoga Studio.
