YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE Fixed term, Fulltime Role — 80 Hours per fortnight with 1 accrued day off each month. This contract finishes in June 2026, with possibility of ongoing employment. About the Role The Patient Navigator is a key member of the administrative team, working closely with clinicians to support patients throughout their care pathway. Key Responsibilities Be the first point of contact for patients, carers, and community referrers—respond to questions, resolve appointment issues, and clarify instructions. Coordinate communication between patients and their clinical care team to ensure timely and clear information flow. Facilitate patient access by managing patient flow and assisting navigation through the cancer care system. Work within a tumour stream model across multiple tumour streams, developing specialist knowledge and building strong, ongoing relationships with patients and multidisciplinary care teams. About You Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage compassionately with patients and families. Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, including managing competing priorities. Experience in a healthcare, administrative, or customer service role (healthcare experience highly regarded). A proactive and collaborative approach to problem‑solving. Remuneration Salary under the Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021‑2025 ranges from HS Grade 2 Year 1 (HS2) $66,768.00 to HS Grade 2 Year 5 (HS21) $73,811.92 per annum, prorated for part‑time.
