Job Description About the Role Reporting to the Technical Services Manager (VIC), the Commissioning Technician – Field (VIC) role plays a vital role in delivering technical services, including commissioning and ongoing support for our Emergency Lighting products, as well as on‑site warranty work for both new builds and existing projects across Victoria. Responsibilities Commission Clevertronics Emergency Lighting products and systems, including onsite support, subcontractor assistance, and adherence to standard commissioning processes. Provide technical services for warranty work, including repairs, fault‑finding, and technical review of returned goods. Deliver training and guidance to subcontractors on Clevertronics systems for service and maintenance. Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system and create end‑user documentation such as maintenance plans and repair guides. Assist with customer demonstrations and provide troubleshooting support. Use the Technical Services ticketing system and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a positive client experience. Contribute to the efficacy and advancement of our QMS/EMS by upholding and promoting our quality and environmental policies in all job functions. Additional duties as required from time to time as per business requirements. Desired Skills and Experience About You Success in this role means delivering accurate and timely commissioning and warranty services, providing exceptional customer support, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders while upholding our quality standards. They will also bring: Relevant experience in technical field service, ideally with lighting or emergency lighting systems. Strong problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused approach and attention to detail. Ability to manage timelines effectively and work collaboratively as a team player. Basic project management knowledge and solid computer/IT networking skills. Current driver’s license required; familiarity with the construction industry is an advantage.
