Freshwater Day Surgery is a modern, privately owned facility with two fully equipped operating theatres. We provide high-quality care across ophthalmic surgery, endoscopy, oral and maxillofacial surgery, iron infusions and venesection. About the Role Working under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, you will support our clinical team by assisting with patient care, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring stock and equipment are ready for use each day. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced and ideal for someone who enjoys contributing to smooth clinical operations. Key Responsibilities Clinical Support Assist patients and families in Stage II PACU Support theatre staff between cases Assist with post‑op observations and cannula removal Restock consumables, trolleys and clinical equipment Change linen and clean patient areas between procedures Stock & Supplies Unpack deliveries and monitor stock levels Rotate stock to reduce waste Support kitchen tasks such as dishwasher operation and fridge checks Cleaning & General Support Complete daily/monthly cleaning as per schedules Maintain all areas to infection‑control standards Administrative Tasks Photocopying and document preparation What We’re Looking For Current NSW Working With Children Check Up‑to‑date healthcare immunisations Basic computer skills Ability to follow direction and work within a defined scope Experience in perioperative or clinical support (advantageous but not essential) Who You Are Reliable, punctual and proactive Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork skills Calm and efficient in a busy environment Passionate about safe, patient‑centred care Why You’ll Love Working With Us Supportive and collaborative team Modern, well‑equipped facility No night shifts or weekend work A great opportunity to build experience in a perioperative setting #J-18808-Ljbffr
