Overview Flight Centre is looking for Sales Travel Consultants across Australia who are keen to dazzle, discover and delight our customers As a Flightie you’re not just building a career – you’re shaping a life filled with purpose, connection and discovery. Responsibilities Work full‑time on‑site in one of our retail stores on a rotating 7‑day roster. Plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings in person, over the phone and via email. Sell the whole holiday including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises, transfers and more. Build a customer base of new and returning customers from regular domestic bookings to lavish international holidays. Assist customers with travel related questions including visas, best time of year to travel, packing, where to eat, what to avoid, and more. Qualifications Seasoned traveller with a history of international destinations and a go‑to person for travel recommendations. Great organisational skills – take notes, manage your calendar and respond quickly to calls and emails. Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs while balancing workload in a high‑pressure environment. Enthusiasm, passion and a warmth that makes customers want to book with you every time. Computer savviness – toggle between complex systems to find the right flight and package options. Benefits Base wage plus an uncapped incentive payment structure – earn a percentage of every sale, pay is completely uncapped. Average earnings for a Travel Consultant in their first year are $70K, Senior Consultants average $100K and Team Leaders average $138K annually (incl. superannuation and penalty rates).
