Job Description: Operations Leading Hand Company: Passing Paws Pet CremationsLocation: Joondalup, WAReports to: Operations Manager About Us Passing Paws Pet Cremations is dedicated to providing compassionate and respectful cremation services for beloved pets. Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Leading Hand to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and that we maintain the highest standards of quality and customer service. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure optimal performance. Technical Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the machinery and facilities used in our operations. Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that staff are trained in its use. Physical Capabilities: Perform physically demanding tasks as needed, ensuring that you and your team can handle the physical requirements of the job. Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service, embodying our culture of excellence. Assist families with compassion and professionalism during their time of need. Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, conducting regular quality checks to ensure our services meet or exceed standards. Production Oversight: Support the in and out divisions of production, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Facility and Crematorium Management: Support the facility and crematorium divisions, ensuring a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in a leading hand role, preferably in a similar industry. Strong technical knowledge of machinery and facilities (ideal, not necessary). Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional customer service skills with a compassionate approach. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance. Physical capability to handle the demands of the role. Strong organizational and time management skills.
