Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre are working in partnership with Hitachi to deliver their National Apprenticeship Program. Their workshop located in Dandenong is equipped with some of the latest state-of-the-art multipurpose plant and equipment of the highest quality. The work environment is professional and the team well experienced, knowledgeable and supportive. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your apprenticeship career start You will be completing a Certificate III Engineering Mechanical and be trained in the following: Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task Operate and adjust metalworking machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components. Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures. Set up and operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines Ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies This role is located in Dandenong , working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm and will commence in January 2026 .
