Join us on this exciting journey and be a part of something extraordinary Job Description ** Brand New State of the Art Workshop Now Open ** We've built a modern, purpose-designed workshop in Geraldton as part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe, high-quality, and innovative working environment for our team. This facility is fully equipped with the latest tools, technology, and comfort features, reinforcing our focus on preventative maintenance, safety, and long-term asset care. Highlights Include Suspended Ceiling Prime Mover Pits equipped with adjustable platforms for your height 5 Hard Stand Bays for trailer servicing Brake Roller Tester Air Conditioned Workshop Fully Stocked Parts Store Based at our Geraldton depot, you’ll carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of Mack and Volvo heavy multi-combination vehicles, ensuring peak performance and maximum uptime. Two roster options are available: Even time roster – 7 days, 7 off, 7 nights, 7 off OR; 2:1 roster – 7 days, 7 nights, 7 off Please indicate your preferred roster when applying. A Day in the Workshop Might Include: Maintaining equipment in line with OEM specifications and compliance standards Diagnosing faults accurately and safely Reporting emerging issues or faults to management Managing work orders and promptly responding to driver and workshop requests Completing documentation and inputting data accurately into systems What’s on Offer: $68.94 per hour + super + short-term incentives + retention bonuses Up to $35,000 in retention bonuses over 5 years ($15k in the first two years) Super paid on all hours worked Access to our Depot Wellness Hub – Massage Chairs, Infrared Sauna, Hyperbaric Chamber, CAROL Bike, Yoga Room and more Supportive Health & Wellbeing programs including Employee Assistance Qualifications C Class Driver’s Licence, or HR Licence (preferable) Minimum 2 years in maintenance & repair of heavy vehicle and/or trailers (Volvo & Mack preferable) Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Experience in vehicle inspections and electric & repairs to heavy duty trucks and trailers Heavy vehicle authorised examiner certification (desirable but not essential) Willing to complete a pre-employment medical Additional Information In addition to a competitive compensation package, we offer comprehensive benefits that include onsite parking and wellness facilities and access to employee assistance and wellbeing programs.
