We are a Carrier joint venture company, wholesale distributors of Toshiba & Carrier residential air conditioning equipment and HVAC parts supplies in Australia. With strong growth plans and a focus on operational excellence, we are seeking a strategic leader to join our executive team. The Opportunity We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain to lead and transform our end-to-end supply chain operations in Australia. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for defining strategy, strengthening governance, and building resilience across demand planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and supplier performance. You will drive cost efficiency, ensure compliance with statutory and ethical obligations, and enable business growth and customer service excellence. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the national supply chain strategy, aligned with regional/global objectives. Lead S&OP/IBP cycles to align demand and supply, optimise working capital, and support product lifecycle management. Oversee procurement strategies, supplier segmentation, and contract governance, including high-value negotiations. Direct national logistics strategy, including 3PL/4PL partnerships, inbound/outbound freight optimization, and distribution network design. Ensure robust inventory governance (safety stock, MOQ, E&O review, stock integrity compliance). Lead transformation projects such as ERP/Oracle optimization, automation, and supply chain analytics. Own supply chain budgets (opex/capex) and drive cost-to-serve and working capital targets. Champion EHS, sustainability, and ESG initiatives across procurement, warehousing, and logistics. Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing supply chain team including managers and analysts. Represent Supply Chain in executive forums, providing insights on risk, resilience, and performance. Skills & Experience Relevant degree (preferred but not mandatory). At least 5-10 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, preferably across multiple sites. Proven success in S&OP/IBP, procurement strategy, supplier negotiations, and logistics transformation. Strong financial acumen with the ability to influence P&L, working capital, and cost-to-serve outcomes. Expertise in ERP (Oracle) and supply chain analytics; Lean/Kaizen or Six Sigma desirable. Track record of strategic leadership, risk management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Personal Qualities High integrity and ethical conduct.
