This role is ideal for a Radiographer ready to step into leadership or an established Chief Radiographer seeking a new, dynamic environment. Our Sebastopol site is equipped with state-of-the-art technology across a wide range of modalities, enabling the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging in a supportive and forward-thinking workplace. As the Chief Radiographer, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, guide and mentor staff, and ensure the consistent delivery of quality patient care. This role blends hands‑on clinical work with leadership, service optimisation, and team development. While this position is full-time, we remain open to discussing flexible arrangements for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and support a team of Radiographers across multiple modalities. Oversee clinical workflow, rostering, training, and quality assurance. Maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety across all imaging services. Collaborate closely with Radiologists, referring clinicians, and management to optimise service delivery. Adhere to regulatory standards and safety protocols, including AHPRA Registration and VIC Radiation License. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as required. Drive continuous improvement, accreditation readiness, and adherence to regulatory and safety standards. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with patients, colleagues, and referring clinicians. Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent. Current AHPRA Registration and VIC Radiation Licence. Extensive clinical experience, with strong proficiency in General X‑Ray and CT. Prior leadership or supervisory experience highly regarded. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and professional development. Ability to work autonomously while leading a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Why Join Vision Radiology?
