Type of Remuneration:FFS - Fee For ServiceCape Breton Regional Hospital (CBRH) is seeking a full-time dermatologist through a TIP TOP funding arrangement to work as a generalist with children and adults. This two year mentorship opportunity that has a flexible start date. The opportunity exists to have a rewarding practice with ongoing support from two currently established dermatologists in the region. The successful candidate may also participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.CBRH opened its door to patients in 1995. Now, it is the second largest acute care facility in Nova Scotia that serves more than 200,000 patients a year. It is part of a four hospital complex that also includes Glace Bay, New Waterford Consolidated, and Northside General Hospitals. Located in the historic town of Sydney, CBRH has 162 acute care beds, 36 emergency beds, 23 intermediate and critical care beds, 40 maternal child beds, 52 mental health and addiction beds, and nine palliative care beds.
