Storeman / Inventory Controller Location: Seaford, Australia Job Description The Storeman / Inventory Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to our job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom and warehouse. Order and prepare materials and tooling requirements for field workers. Ensure the accuracy of inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes. Monitor and control inventory levels to minimise wastage and maximise efficiency. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Perform regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods. Maintain records of materials, equipment, and stock movement. Operate forklift and other material handling equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of plumbing materials and equipment is advantageous. Forklift and driver’s licence required. Competency in using inventory management software. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Physically fit and capable.
