KADASTRE OPERATIONS PTY LTD – Brisbane QLD Kadastre is an innovative platform developed over the past two years to transform images of cadastral survey plans into intelligent digital data. We’re now looking for a technician to help validate and refine this information, ensuring accuracy and quality for our internal and external clients. You’ll work with cutting‑edge OCR and machine learning technology already in use by Queensland DNR and other government agencies. The Kadastre platform is part of Bennett + Bennett Holdings, a trusted name with a long-standing commitment to excellence in Surveying, Town Planning, and Spatial Solutions. This role is currently available on a casual basis. We welcome recent surveying graduates, survey technicians, CAD operators and semi‑retired professionals seeking flexible or reduced hours. Your Role and Impact Review and Validation: Review and validate digital survey data extracted by our AI‑powered platform to ensure it accurately reflects the original survey plans. Training and Support: Receive hands‑on training and ongoing support from the Operations Manager. Knowledge Growth: Gain a strong understanding of the Queensland Cadastral Survey Plan process. Quality Assurance: Deliver accurate, high‑quality digital survey data to clients on schedule. Innovation: Provide feedback to our software developers to enhance the platform and contribute to the modernisation of Queensland’s Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB). Collaboration: Work alongside a small, supportive team driving digital transformation in the surveying industry. What You Bring Qualifications: A formal qualification in Surveying is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided. Experience: Previous experience preparing Queensland Cadastral Survey Plans is beneficial but not required. Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and spatial awareness. Work Ethic: Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed. Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
