Our Aerospace business, based at Tullamarine, provides specialised coatings and sealants to members of the aerospace industry. About the Role We are currently growing our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team, and are seeking an EHS Specialist to drive consistent and continuous improvement in EHS practices at our Tullamarine facility. The successful candidate will provide daily support to the site EHS leadership team and all employees, maintaining and implementing PPG EHS policies to comply with the applicable local regulatory and company requirements. The role will be based on-site at Tullamarine, however some travel to support other PPG locations will be required. It would be well suited to candidates who have graduated the last 2-3 years, who are eager to progress their career in a global organization. Key Responsibilities Support the Tullamarine site to complete regular gap assessments, highlighting actual or potential non‑compliances, and follow up corrective and preventive action plans Support the implementation of the site’s EHS policies, procedures and risk management strategies, whilst liaising with Senior Leadership Team and various stakeholders Support the development of annual EHS work plans and KPIs Facilitate and support the root‑cause incident investigation at the site as required Facilitate and support the risk assessments at the site as required Actively participate in the development of annual EHS work plans and KPIs for the various commercial activities in the ANZ region Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification in OHS, Engineering or in Science (Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental will be an advantage) Ideally suited to a candidate who has graduated in the last 2-3 years Strong influencing and effective communication skills to interact with management, shop floor personnel, regulatory agencies, external contractors and emergency services Practical industry experience in EHS disciplines is required A working knowledge of relevant Acts, including OHS Act, Environment Protection Act, Regulations and Codes of Practices Experience in a Manufacturing Industry will be an advantage What We Offer A close‑knit team on-site, with opportunities to gain exposure across additional PPG facilities Opportunities for development and long‑term career progression Performance‑based incentive schemes Access to corporate discounts, including WhereFit, that provide wellness benefits to our employees Give back to local communities with our PPG Colourful Communities program PPG Recognition programs Generous discounts on PPG products through our company‑owned store network PPG provides equal opportunity to all candidates and employees.
