Read more about us at Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Fitter to join our team in Homebush West. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our diesel generators and auxiliary equipment. We're seeking an individual with a strong mechanical background, the ability to problem solve, and a dedication to quality. Position Duties Conduct inspections and diagnose technical issues across diesel generators, engines, and associated auxiliary equipment. Perform routine maintenance and scheduled servicing to ensure all plant and equipment operate reliably and efficiently. Identify, troubleshoot, and repair faults to minimise downtime and maintain equipment performance. Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and parts used. Adhere to safety standards and company procedures, actively promoting a safe and compliant work environment. Assist with and carry out on-site project installations when required, ensuring work is completed to specification. Participate in on-call breakdown support when available, providing timely responses to urgent customer needs. About You Previous experience in power generation is highly regarded. Reliable, positive, and able to work autonomously, managing your time and tasks effectively. A strong team player with a collaborative mindset, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work culture. Confident in problem-solving and fault-finding, with a practical, results-driven approach. Able to travel remotely as required. Basic computer skills required. Current driver’s licence is essential.
