What you'll be doing Coordinate clinical service planning for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, including the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick in accordance with NSW Ministry of Health and other related agencies. Provide clinical service planning advice and support to the shared clinical services as they related to paediatrics on the Westmead and Randwick Precincts. Develop health service plans, including but not limited to, master plans, clinical service plans, models of service delivery and other strategic plans as they relate to SCHN and NSW Health. Undertake detailed analysis of clinical activity data utilising MoH and other appropriate programs and compile activity projections to inform the clinical and service planning at a service, hospital or Network level. Analyse and compile reports utilizing computer applications word‑processing, databases and spreadsheets as necessary to demonstrate the required facilities using previous and projected activities. Provide consultative advice, information including briefing papers, report or capital submission to the Executive and NSW Health as appropriate. Engage with internal and external key stakeholders, including clinicians, managers and planners, in the development of service and other planning documents. Facilitate and support major planning related matters undertaken by Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, Randwick and Westmead Health and Education Precinct. Support the Redevelopment Project Directors in the management and coordination of project user groups and other stakeholders groups in the development and delivery of the SCH Stage 1 within the Randwick Campus Redevelopment. Develop and maintain effective relationships and communicate with SCHN staff, Randwick and Westmead Precinct staff, and NSW Health or key stakeholders to facilitate liaison, consultation and negotiation for the purposes of achieving desired outcomes in clinical service planning. About You Substantial previous experience in planning and/or project roles within the health system. Demonstrated advanced level analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to provide high level influencing, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with managers and staff regarding Service Planning matters in a professional manner. Previous experience in submission of business cases to senior management within a medium to large organisation and any involvement of medium to large capital projects.
