Cyber Security Compliance Specialist with baseline clearance Join to apply for the Cyber Security Compliance Specialist with baseline clearance role at ZSoft Technologies Pty Ltd Cyber Security Compliance Specialist with baseline clearance – Canberra / anywhere in Australia We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Compliance Specialist to support security accreditation activities for new and upgraded ICT systems. The role requires strong governance, risk and compliance (GRC) expertise, deep understanding of Australian Government security frameworks, and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders. Hands‑on experience producing high-quality security accreditation documentation and ensuring systems meet Authority‑to‑Operate (AtO) requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain security accreditation artefacts including: Statement of Applicability (SoA), System Risk Management Plan (SRMP), System Security Plan (SSP), Certification Reports . Manage multiple accreditation and compliance assessments end‑to‑end, ensuring timely completion. Apply ISM, PSPF and IRAP‑aligned security controls and provide clear, practical guidance to system owners and business owners. Communicate security risks, controls, and remediation actions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Provide informed, evidence‑based security advice to teams and senior leadership. Identify compliance gaps, vulnerabilities and remediation actions; collaborate with IT and business teams to close risks. Support risk assessments within the organisation’s ICT service management and security governance systems. Work under the direction of the Cyber Security Manager and IT Security Advisor as part of the broader cyber team. Facilitate discussions, negotiate outcomes, and ensure effective stakeholder alignment. Required Experience 5+ years experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) within government or highly regulated environments. Strong working knowledge of: Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), IRAP processes, security accreditation frameworks, AtO/AtOF processes . Demonstrated ability to prepare, review, and manage security assessment documentation. Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
