We look forward to having a permanent full-time Vehicle Body Builder to join us and grow with us. Duties and Responsibilities of the Vehicle Body Builder: Select and use appropriate equipment and machines for cutting, shaping, and bending materials for body parts for trailers, caravans and horse floats using metal, timber, fibreglass and other materials Fabricate and weld metal parts to build bodies for trailers, caravans and horse floats Preparing new interior trim based on technical drawings and specifications, removing existing fittings and coverings Customising production-line vehicles to meet specific design or functional requirements Build, assemble, and fit body parts such as chassis and frame, drawbar, and etc. Cutting, forming and fitting sheet metal, aluminium and reinforced plastic panels to frameworks using hand-held and power-operated tools Installing interior vehicle trim (including linings, floor materials and armrest components) ,door trims, weather seals, locking mechanisms and handles Performs inspections and quality control on completed vehicle bodies of different kinds of trailers, caravans and horse floats Required Skills and Experience: Qualifications At least Diploma level trade qualification in relevant field (such as Automotive Body Repair Technology). Experience At least three years relevant working experience. Experience in automotive/vehicle repair/manufacturing Knowledge of best practices for fabrication and repairs Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Attention to details and commitment to high-quality work Focus on safety and willingness to follow relevant procedures Ability to work in a collaborative team setting If you are interested in this position, please email your cv/resume to: ****@bigmantrailer.com.au. #J-18808-Ljbffr
