We are now seeking a Director Prosecutions to join our team.Reporting directly to the Executive Director Statutory Compliance, you will contribute your expertise to drive ethically based prosecution services nationally. With a dispersed team your remit will expand to culture, internal and external education, and the delivery of our prosecution’s strategy.This will be a positive, yet impressive program of work requiring exceptional strategic capability to balance diverse stakeholder groups and a broad remit of cases. To be successful in this role it’s important that you:Have experience working with a geographically dispersed team;demonstrate people leadership and high-level engagement capability;have high-level knowledge of and experience in criminal law, practice and procedure;be admitted or are eligible for admission as a barrister or solicitor of the High Court or a Supreme Court of a State or Territory of Australia;are resilient, agile, and customer centric;are motivated to delivery positive industry outcomes through effective relationships with industry, the police and other regulatory agencies.Can be based Brisbane, Melbourne, Parramatta or Adelaide.
