Founded in 1980, Christian College Geelong is a K-12 school where academic achievement is balanced with care and concern for each student’s character development and wellbeing, grounded in the Christian faith. We have five campuses across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast region as well as a rural experience for Year 9 students at an expansive farm property in Scotsburn, near Ballarat, and a unique Art, Technology and Design campus for Senior School students in Waurn Ponds. THE ROLE Full-time (1.00), fixed term – 6 months commencing in January 2026 Christian College Geelong is seeking a caring and responsible Overnight Supervisor to join our Rural Program team. This position is based at our Back Creek Farm Campus and plays an essential role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of students during overnight hours. The Overnight Supervisor provides supervision and pastoral care to students in residence, maintains a calm and supportive environment, and ensures routines are followed to promote a positive residential experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide supervision and support to students during evening and overnight hours. Respond appropriately to any incidents, emergencies, or student needs that arise overnight. Maintain accurate records and handover notes for morning staff. Support the overall wellbeing and pastoral care of students in the program. Uphold the values and ethos of Christian College Geelong at all times. WHAT YOU BRING Have a genuine interest in supporting young people in a residential learning environment. Be calm under pressure and able to respond effectively to issues overnight. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check and current First Aid qualification. Must be willing to undergo a Police Check. Experience in youth work, boarding supervision, or a similar role will be highly regarded. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Onsite accommodation and meals are provided as part of the role. This position may suit a couple who are prepared to live onsite and share in the responsibilities and community life of the campus.
