What we need We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Full Time Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Services team based in Hobart. As the Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to: Accurate and timely review and preparation of monthly financial reporting through the review and preparation of journals and reconciliations Completion of end of financial year tasks required to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the financial statements Provide operational and clinical teams with financial support to ensure reporting and compliance requirements are met Complete high‑level financial analysis and respond to financial queries from internal and external stakeholders Ensure processes and controls are documented and maintained at best practice, where required recommend and implement required process improvements Manage workload distribution effectively by delegation of tasks within the team Form and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders built on trust and respect Facilitate meetings including those with internal and external stakeholders Review and ensure the accurate and timely completion of all aged care related surveys such as ABS and Stewart Brown Work with the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Manager in relation to various projects and system implementations Supervise and train members of the finance team according to organisational structure.
