We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Manager to drive the migration of business applications to the cloud, modernise platforms, and set the strategic direction for our client’s cloud environment. You’ll lead a small but high‑performing team, oversee architecture, delivery, and governance, and work in a highly secure, compliance‑driven environment aligned with the ISM Framework. This role is ideal for an experienced leader with expertise in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or similar), a strong background in cyber security, and the ability to balance innovation with operational excellence. Australian Citizenship is essential. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering a high-performing, delivery-focused culture Define and execute the cloud infrastructure strategy aligned to enterprise goals and compliance frameworks Own the platform roadmap and drive implementation via modern DevSecOps and CI/CD practices Maintain and optimise cloud services across secure environments in accordance with the ISM Framework Collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions Translate cloud strategy into actionable product backlogs, managing prioritisation and operational stability Engage with internal stakeholders and vendors to align services with broader IT and business needs Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience leading cloud infrastructure or platform teams within enterprise or regulated environments Strong technical background in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP) Experience with cloud-native architecture, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation), and CI/CD toolsets Working knowledge of secure infrastructure delivery aligned to frameworks such as the ISM, ASD Essential Eight, or IRAP Background in balancing infrastructure delivery with strategic platform uplift and governance Strong interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams Apply now Please contact Jessica Gadsby on for a confidential discussion.
