Senior Family Lawyer W3Global is an award‑winning, dynamic LGBTQ+ law firm based in Sydney, Australia. Role Overview We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled full‑time Family Lawyer with a minimum of five years’ post‑qualification experience to join our vibrant family law team. You will work on complex and impactful cases, contributing to meaningful legal outcomes. Location Newtown, NSW (hybrid working arrangements available after an initial period) Key Responsibilities Draft and prepare legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage complex family law matters, including financial agreements, surrogacy agreements, property settlements and parenting arrangements. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy. Collaborate with solicitors, paralegals and clients to develop case strategies and provide first‑class representation. Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective case progression. Essential Requirements Admission as a Solicitor in NSW with 5+ years of post‑qualification experience and a current NSW practising certificate. Demonstrated experience in the preparation and management of proceedings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong commitment to delivering high‑quality legal services and achieving positive outcomes for clients with absolute professionalism. Desirable Attributes Previous experience in a similar role or with a focus on the specified areas of law. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Enthusiasm for professional development and staying updated on legal trends and changes. Willingness to attend firm‑sponsored events and collaborate with teams in other practice areas.
