Executive Service Coordinator Position Number : 15 Department : Office of the CEO Level : 6-7 Depending on skills experience and qualifications Award : May be covered under Local Government Officers Award Remuneration : $ - $ The total remuneration package (inclusive of base salary applicable allowances and superannuation) will be negotiated with the successful candidate depending on skills and experience. Base salary and allowances will be applied on a pro-rata basis for part-time positions. As part of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer you’ll be at the heart of local government leadership supporting a dynamic CEO and Council who are passionate about good governance meaningful community outcomes and the future of the Gascoyne. This is not your typical administrative role. Its a trusted partnership position central to enabling the CEO to focus on leadership strategy and people. What You’ll Do Provide high-level confidential and strategic support to the CEO and Council. Coordinate executive governance operations including Council agendas minutes resolutions and key registers. Build trusted relationships with Councillors senior management and the community. Manage CEO correspondence briefings and meeting preparation with accuracy and professionalism. Drive continuous improvement in executive systems and processes to enhance transparency and accountability. Support the coordination of civic events Council workshops and community engagements. Youll be an active connector ensuring alignment and clarity across Council the Executive team and the community. About You Youll bring: Proven experience providing executive and governance support to a CEO executive or elected body. Advanced communication organisation and digital literacy skills. Sound understanding of the Local Government Act 1995 and associated governance frameworks. Exceptional discretion judgment and political awareness.
