Early Childhood Teacher Child Australia (Landsdale Early Learning Centre) is looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join a brand‑new, spacious facility serving children aged 0‑5, open Monday to Friday 7am‑6pm. About the Centre A brand‑new and spacious Child Australia facility situated in Landsdale offers high‑quality education and care for children aged 0 to 5 years. The centre provides a play‑based learning approach in safe, purpose‑built indoor and outdoor environments, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). We focus on fostering curiosity, building strong family partnerships, and supporting each child’s holistic development. About the Role This is a permanent full‑time role working 75 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday). Following successful probation, there is an option to work a condensed fortnight (nine longer days, tenth day off). Ideally, the successful candidate will be joining the team early/mid‑February. What You’ll Do Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual children Create a safe and welcoming environment for children to learn and play Observe and assess children’s development and progress, and communicate with parents and caregivers as needed Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and attendance Attend professional development opportunities to stay up to date on best practices in early childhood education What You Need To Be Successful Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Current registration as a Teacher in WA or willingness to obtain At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework, child development and age‑appropriate teaching methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other Educators and staff Current Working with Children Check First Aid and CPR Certifications All successful candidates must provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months prior to commencing employment.
