Managed by an experienced local team alongside the investor group, the company operates a diverse and expanding portfolio of properties across Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Western Australia. The partnership is focused on building a high‑quality portfolio of agricultural assets, primarily dedicated to grain production. This position is located at the Cherylton aggregation in Kojonup, WA which operates as a broadacre cropping enterprise. The Role The Mechanic is responsible for maintenance including pre‑seasons for the machinery on farm. You will work closely with the Management Team on having machinery maintained to a high standard and implementation of new machinery where required. Liaising with dealers for machinery parts. The position involves performing duties and carrying out work in areas such as: Servicing, maintenance and pre‑season of all farm machinery/equipment including the use of machinery but not limited to planting/sowing, spraying, spreading, harvesting. The aggregation runs modern machinery with a workshop. Having mechanical experience in agriculture/broad acre farming is critical to performance in this position. A mechanical qualification will be highly regarded. Computer skills are important as the position involves keeping up with computer systems and reporting activities electronically. This role is also expected to keep expenditure to the budget for the operations of the farm. A good understanding of health and safety requirements, problem solving, good written and verbal communication, and planning are also important.
