Butlers Yarwun Quarries is a family owned and operated business based in Gladstone. The land has been in the Butler family since the early 1900’s and the quarry, which has been operating since 1985, has a lifespan of 160 years. Butlers Yarwun Quarries is built on solid family values supported by good management practices and a loyal team of experienced people. BYQ is currently recruiting for a quarry operator/maintenance personnel reporting to the Quarry Manager. The primary responsibilities will be the safe and efficient operation of quarry mobile equipment including general maintenance. Required Skills & Competencies Excavator operations Loader operations Rigid and dump truck operation Sales / load‑out experience would be highly advantageous About you Crushing and screening experience Able to participate in general labouring duties Exposure to mobile and fixed crushing and screening plant General maintenance ability Drivers Licence with own transport Ability to pass a functional assessment, drug and alcohol test Reliable Ability to work independently within a small team Construction / White card How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration by clicking the “Apply for this job” button.
