A Project Manager role, built for you An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a highly talented and experienced Project Manager who is seeking a long career with one of Australia’s leading builders. We are expanding our operations in Canberra and the need for an expert in the local market is crucial. As a Project Manager at Built, you’ll manage and deliver projects across all built-forms, ranging from $100K to $1 billion. And with $4.5 billion of secured work in our pipeline, you’ll have endless opportunities to grow your career. With full project control, our Project Managers love the broad range of projects they work on and the stakeholder relationships they build. The successful candidate will work with all relevant project staff but most closely with the incumbents in the following roles as applicable for a project: Construction Manager Services Manager Contract Administrators The new way forward, built by you Your success here will be defined by the energy you bring to work every day. Flexibility and adaptability will be second nature, and you’ll always think smart, act smart, start strong and finish stronger Here are the essentials you’ll need for this role: Possess a relevant building related degree Have extensive experience managing high-end and high-profile fitout & refurbishment projects in the Canberra market Be quality focused and have the ability to assess risk Be able to show longevity with past employers and exemplary references Here’s what else we’re looking for: People and site leadership skills. You’ll know how to bring everyone together to deliver quality work outputs. And you’ll do this by building trusted relationships with the team, clients, sub-contractors and partners. The ability to communicate with influence And you’ll be an analytical thinker who loves solving complex problems. You’ll have experience across various types of projects, such as Design and Construct contracts, Construct Only contracts and construction management contracts using (amended) Standard Form Contracts. Your people skills will be first class. You’ll know how to bring everyone together, finding shared goals and aggregating resources to deliver projects and jobs. And you’ll do this by building trusted relationships with your stakeholders. Your attention to detail, and ability to be across deadlines, deliverables and contractual elements, will be second-to-none. Why Built?
