Job Overview With the recent opening of our amazing Riverdeck beer garden The Royal Hotel Wyong is in rapid growth & our team is expanding Our kitchen team is looking for a qualified CHEF to join our team. You will be working in a bright newly refurbished kitchen & with a team that prides itself in delivering high volumes of great food on a consistent basis. The menu is a combination of classic pub favourites, fantastic pizzas made from our in-house dough, seasonal dishes & ongoing ‘Chef Choice’ specials We are looking for energetic, positive people to join us at this exciting time. We value a positive working environment highly so if you are skilled in the art of preparing great food with a happy constructive attitude then we’d love to hear from you. Qualifications & Skills Work well under pressure and be confident in the kitchen Constructive Leadership – Able to lead and manage a kitchen team in a positive & constructive manner Friendly, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and good organisation and communication skills Able to work both autonomously and constructively in a team environment Commercial Cookery Certification This role is on a casual employment basis paid at Award Rates for up to 38 hours per week, including nights, week-ends & public holidays, with the opportunity for a salary position for the right person.
