Job Type: Contract position | Casual position Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: Category 5 are seeking candidates for an 8‑week work‑ready program with North West Alliance in Port Hedland. The purpose of this program is to provide the opportunity for candidates to gain experience and knowledge in the Trades & Services field in an entry‑level role. Transport will be provided to and from work during the program, making it especially beneficial for those without a driver’s license who are seeking employment in this industry. After the 8‑week program is completed, there is the possibility of ongoing work with North West Alliance or Category 5 for suitable candidates. 8‑Week Program – 3 days per week – Tuesday to Thursday – 8 am – 2 pm. This is an AAC (TPRJ) Ready2Work Program. Requirements No driver’s license required – transport provided during the program. Ability to pass a mine site medical / D&A. Willingness to have a hepatitis immunisation. No experience required – must have a willingness and desire to learn. Police clearance.
