Our team is comprised of specialist fire protection professionals, contractors, plumbers, sprinkler fitters and electricians who not only install, but also maintain and provide ongoing support for your fire protection system. About the Role We are currently sourcing a Sprinkler Fitter to join our CQ Team based from our Mackay premises. The position is a hands on role pertaining to the service and maintenance of essential services including fire detection and suppression systems across various industries. You won’t need mining experience previously, particularly just a keen interest to learn, hold a Sprinkler Fitting Trade Certification and QBCC Licence. The role is a Fly in, Fly out OR Drive in, Drive out position from Mackay. Total Fire Solutions will provide all successful candidates with a shared company houses to stay in whilst on roster and a daily tax free meal allowance. Willingness to learn the mining industry. Excellent workmanship, reliability, attention to detail and ability to work in a team. A high standard of safety and a commitment to continual improvement. An ability to work independently with a high level of communication and customer service skills. An ability to prioritise and arrange service tasks and accurately complete service-related documentation. Manual Drivers Licence. Desirable (or ability to obtain prior to starting) Current Standard 11. Current Coal Board Medical. Provide First Aid Certification. FPAS certifications. QBCC Licence.
