Project Director

Are you right for this role?This role requires extensive experience in leading large scale, complex and high-risk IM/ICT projects throughout the project lifecycle, achieving successful outcomes. You will have high level knowledge and application of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), which is essential for your success in this role. Your well-developed negotiation and communication skills will enable you to effectively negotiate and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders across Queensland Health. You will also be experienced in putting together strategies, frameworks, plans to enable informed decision making on project issues. You will have a proven ability to lead, manage and mentor multiple multi-disciplinary project teams, driving outputs against agreed budget and project plans.
About the Digital Capital Program - eHealth Queensland:eHealth Queensland is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state. It is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of information systems and technologies so that Queensland Health employees and health providers have access to information that supports the delivery of health care.
Queensland Health is currently undertaking several of the largest health infrastructure programs ever seen in Australia. The largest of these, the Capacity Expansion Program (CEP) is a visionary program designed to bring service and capabilities to more Queenslanders than ever before. Adding over 2,200 additional hospital beds across the state, with four entirely new hospitals and expansions to 11 already world class facilities.
