The appointed teacher will support the aims of Catholic Education and contribute to our professional educators and community. This position is open to both graduate and experienced teachers. About the Role This role will be in either the Middle or Senior school and is open to both graduate and experienced teachers to apply. Key Responsibilities To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, well‑being and protection of children; To provide students with a rich and engaging educational experience; Ensure the delivery of a curriculum that reaches and engages students with a diverse range of educational abilities and backgrounds; A collegial and collaborative approach to learning and teaching; An ability to foster and develop strong relationships with students and the parent community. Key Selection Criteria Understanding and commitment to Catholic identity and mission; Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration); Current or willingness to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate; Demonstrated high‑level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence‑based approaches to teaching and learning. An understanding of Structured Literacy at the Middle/Senior level would be advantageous. Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment and an ability to form positive connections with the parent community. Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.
