Join the dynamic finance team of a leading international FMCG/Manufacturing organisation as an Assistant Financial Accountant . Based in Condell Park, NSW , this full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the financial operations of a growing and fast-paced business. As a valued member of the finance team, you'll work collaboratively with colleagues and liaise with operational teams across the company. You will support the day-to-day accounting function, including financial reporting, intercompany transactions, cash flow forecasting, and foreign exchange processes. This role is central to ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance, and driving operational efficiency across both domestic and international operations. Key Responsibilities Support month-end and year-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and audit preparation. Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts, track working capital, and assist with financial reporting. Manage intercompany transactions, supplier payments, and account reconciliations. Assist with foreign exchange activities, including FX orders, forward exchange contracts (FECs), and variance analysis. Ensure compliance through BAS preparation, GST postings, and accurate financial reconciliations. Oversee expense management (e.g., AMEX, royalty payments) and maintain up-to-date vendor records. Maintain and update financial systems (Business Central) and provide support for AR/AP queries. Contribute to ad hoc projects and support day-to-day finance operations as required. About You Degree-qualified in Accounting, with a preference for candidates pursuing CA, CPA, or CIMA accreditation. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with advanced Excel skills and experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365. Minimum of 1-2 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is required. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a practical approach to finding solutions. Adaptable and resilient, thriving in a fast‑paced and evolving environment. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency. High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all financial tasks.
