Studio Schools of Australia (SSA) is not just a school; it is a movement for systemic change in Indigenous education. Led by an experienced Executive Team, we are redefining what success looks like for Indigenous students in Northern Australia. Our model is unique globally. It is built on Two-Way Learning —a genuine partnership where Indigenous students (from the Kimberley) and non-Indigenous students (from Wesley College, Melbourne ) learn side-by-side. Indigenous Education: Extensive experience working with Indigenous students and families, with a deep understanding of culturally responsive practice. Two-Way Learning: Demonstrated experience with, or a sophisticated understanding of, "Two-Way Learning" models and cross-cultural exchange. The "On Country" Experience: Life at Yiramalay is an adventure. You will work alongside Traditional Owners and Cultural Mentors , gaining a deep understanding of the land and its stories. You will witness students flourishing not just in the classroom, but on the river, in the bush, and through industry partnerships. About You: We are looking for resilience, cultural humility, and a commitment to operational excellence. Qualified: TRBWA registration (or eligibility) with 5+ years of teaching experience. Culturally Competent: A deep respect for Indigenous traditions and a willingness to learn. Organised: The ability to manage complex logistics (timetables, rosters) while remaining calm and effective.
