VALE Partners have been engaged by a market leading global SaaS company to help grow their Australian engineering function. The business is technology-driven, with multiple members of the executive team coming from hands on engineering or product roots. This particular role will be joining a team that's building scalable and high performing applications, as well as influencing the way engineering is done internally across multiple regions. You’ll need to be comfortable working end-to-end, from design through to deployment. You’ll also ideally have experience building cloud‑native microservices using the latest .NET, as well as be familiar with event‑based architectures and modern frontend technologies like React, Vue or similar alongside TypeScript. This role also involves mentoring and guiding other developers, helping them level up their knowledge of best practices. Role Overview Design and develop features for both existing and new product workflows Drive architectural decisions and establish long-term technical strategies Lead the implementation of new features while maintaining and optimising existing systems Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve technical challenges Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions Provide technical mentorship through code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions What You’ll Ideally Have Experience working in a full stack capacity across .NET APIs and web UIs using React, Vue or similar Experience developing enterprise‑grade systems that leverage event‑driven architecture and containerisation A track record of leading technical projects while mentoring other developers Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Self‑motivated mindset with enthusiasm for collaborative practices like pair programming and code reviews This Role Will Interest You If You’re excited by the idea of making a meaningful impact through software that has a global reach.
