Waverley Christian College is a forward‑thinking and culturally diverse Christian co‑educational school from Kinder to Year 12. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025. The Narre Warren South Campus is looking for a part‑time (0.6 FTE) Primary Learning Support Teacher to join our team. Commencing in January 2026, you’ll work alongside classroom teachers and the Primary Learning Support Coordinator to help students with diverse learning needs flourish academically, socially and spiritually. You’ll design and deliver targeted programs, support teachers with classroom strategies and program modification, and build strong partnerships with families so that every student can engage confidently in their learning and discover their God‑given potential. The successful applicant must: Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Have experience or training in learning support or special education. Be confident in planning and delivering targeted literacy and numeracy interventions for individual and small group needs. Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with teachers, parents and specialists to support each learner’s pathway. Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement. Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education. Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.
