Trinity Grammar School Summer Hill – Summer Hill NSW 1d ago , from Trinity Grammar School - Summer Hill NSW We are a large and busy organisation and our Audio Visual team need some additional support. Our team is busy looking after a diverse and interesting collection of events. The team are involved in over 40 major School production events each year including drama and musical productions, arts festivals, musical performances, and formal prize-giving and commemorative events each year. Additionally, this role will involve assisting with multi-track audio recordings for student exams and assessments, as well as supporting live streaming of major assemblies, staff presentations, school sports and activities, and many more. Working as part of the ICT team, the Audio Visual Technician Support is responsible for providing excellent customer service technical support in response to requests for Audio Visual assistance. This role involves supporting the Audio Visual Team with the operational and event production requirements of the School. This includes filming and video editing of events, assisting with the setup and pack down of events. Successful applicants will be expected to work across all campus, with most of the work located at Summer Hill. Out of School hours work will be required for specific events. Actual hours of work will depend on the scheduled events and will be negotiated with the successful applicant subject to availability and interests. What's involved... Assist with the logistical, communication and preparation aspects of the Audio Visual requirements for School events and productions Assist with the Audio Visual requirements for all Trinity Grammar School Campuses to set up, pack down and installation of equipment Assist the set-up, provision and recording of live music and theatre performances including operating of lighting, creative video editing, audio mixing and web streaming to support student, staff and the wider community requirements. Flexibility in availability Knowledge in at least one of the following Audio Visual Specialities: Audio: Set up and operation of Audio Systems and equipment Lighting: Set up and operation of Lighting systems and equipment Video: Set up and operation of video systems and equipment including video switching, filming techniques, video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro Successful candidates will have... Currently undertaking tertiary qualifications in a related field Current NSW-Working with Children number. Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) Valid driver’s licence and vehicle to travel between campuses Salary will be dependent on skill level approximately $48-57 per hour (inclusive of casual loading for ordinary hours).
