Senior Analyst | Operational Risk Capital and Scenarios At Macquarie Group , join the Operational Risk Capital team responsible for the design, calculation and coordination of Operational Risk Scenarios, Capital and Stress Testing. What role will you play? As a Senior Analyst, you will calculate the bank’s operational risk capital requirements, working closely with business and risk teams to quantify material non‑financial risks using a scenario‑based approach. You will identify critical risks by analysing both internal and external loss data, stay informed about updates within the Operational Risk Management Framework and changes in the broader business environment. Additionally, you will actively participate in group‑wide and entity‑specific stress tests, handle ad‑hoc capital adequacy analysis, and prepare regulatory capital returns and assist with regulatory inquiries and change projects. What You Offer Previous experience in Regulatory Capital, Operational Risk, Audit or Treasury Tertiary qualification in STEM, Finance or related discipline Strong problem‑solving skills, both quantitative and qualitative Good foundation in statistics and data analysis, with an interest in using those skills Excellent communication skills, able to lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues Background in ICAAP, ICARA, Basel III is advantageous What We Offer Benefits include flexibility, pay packages, well‑being leave, volunteer leave, paid parental leave, gender affirmation leave, professional development, employee assistance program, and more.
