Overview Help to ensure the safe and efficient provision of Ultrasound procedures, working autonomously to assist Sonographers in successfully performing their duties. At PRC, we don’t just hire employees; we empower professionals. What is the Opportunity? This role will see you working across multiple PRC clinics, taking on casual hours as a Sonographer Assistant. You will be provided with full on-the-job training to set you up for success. Reporting to Reporting to the Sonographer Supervisor, you will: Prepare patients for imaging procedures including collecting them from the waiting room, getting them changed, verifying their identity, confirming their consent where required and cross-checking referrals and bookings Discharge patients as per protocol, complete billing accurately, and update documentation as needed Assist Sonographers with patient positioning and probe selection, and during ultrasound examinations Prepare rooms and cubicles for each day, including restocking them with sufficient gel and ensuring correct probes are available Clean beds and probes before and after each patient, following HLD Guidelines Interpret referrals, locate prior reports, and ensure accurate data entry into various systems Maintain cleanliness of patient areas, manage stock levels, and ensure waste disposal protocols are followed Who We’re Looking For 2nd year (2026) Bachelor of Preclinical Foundations of Imaging Science students (ECU) A focused, systematic, disciplined individual Someone coachable and team-oriented with high EQ Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care Someone with established critical thinking and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively whilst under pressure Why Choose PRC?
