The role involves coding inpatient episodes of care across all ISLHD facilities. To provide accurate, timely, high quality coded data of complex inpatient separations from any or all of the hospitals within the Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD using the current edition of ICD‑10‑AM, ACHI, and the Australian Coding Standards in order to meet Activity based Funding (ABF) targets, ISLHD reporting timeframes, provide data for research, planning and financial management. About ISLHD From Helensburgh in the north to North Durras in the south, ISLHD covers an area of 5,687 square km. That’s 5,687 square km of beautiful beaches, coastal cycling tracks, lush rainforests, incredible bushwalks and friendly people. Located on Dharawal and Yuin Country, ISLHD operates seven hospital sites, employs over 8,500 staff and provides community health services across 58 locations.
