Support Worker – Laundry at Calvary Albury & District, Albury NSW 2640 Progress with purpose at one of Australia’s largest health care providers Get ahead with salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive team environment Experience in Aged Care preferred Permanent Part Time Opportunity Routine and project laundry tasks according to established laundry schedules. Laundry and cleaning tasks include mopping and vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, waste management, restocking of supplies, collection of soiled linen and clothing as required Completion of Laundry tasks according to infection control and occupational health and safety requirements including the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals Key Responsibilities Laundry tasks are completed according to routine and project cleaning schedules Laundry tasks are completed according to infection control and occupational health and safety requirements including the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals Work in accordance with the mission and vision of Calvary and actively participate in developing a culture that promotes Calvary’s values of healing, hospitality, stewardship and respect. Routine and project cleaning tasks according to established cleaning schedules. Cleaning tasks include mopping and vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, waste management, restocking of supplies, collection of soiled linen and clothing as required Undertakes daily, weekly, monthly cleaning tasks as per home cleaning schedules and documents completion of the scheduled tasks as required. Operate mechanical cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, steam cleaners and hard floor scrubbers. Ensures ample supplies of clean linen, towels, and laundry skip bags are consistently stocked in designated storage areas within the home.
