Our Commercial Supply Chain department is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Distribution Assistant to join our distribution team, based at our Bundamba Warehouse – a newly built, air conditioned premises equipped with onsite parking and conveniently located to public transportation. Reporting to the Distribution Team Leader, the Distribution Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products from our warehouse to customers. This role plays a crucial role in organizing, packing and shipping orders accurately and timely. Key responsibilities for this role include: Assist in the picking, packing, and labelling of products for shipment. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders before they are dispatched. Material handling activities including unloading of trucks and containers. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment activities. Collaborate with other team members to streamline distribution processes and improve efficiency. Always adhere to GMP and safety procedures and guidelines. The minimum qualifications for this role are: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience working with Microsoft suite – particularly excel Current Forklift Ticket is preferred but not required – Viatris will cover the affiliate cost of this if not currently in possession following completion of your probationary period. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder) Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
