QUALIFIED CARPENTER-RESIDENTIAL RENOVATIONS Qualified Carpenter For Residential Renovations About HMD Building HMD Building specialises in high-quality residential transformations, from full house renovations to knockdown rebuilds. We take a meticulous approach to every stage of the process, ensuring a seamless renovation experience. With a strong focus on detail, functionality, and aesthetics, we manage projects from start to finish, including approvals and inspections, to deliver exceptional results. About the Role Manage daily site tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet high-quality standards. Perform hands‑on carpentry work across all aspects of renovation building, from commencement through to completion. Work collaboratively within a high‑performing team while maintaining the ability to operate autonomously when required. Uphold excellent workmanship, attention to detail, and personal presentation on every project. Take on a variety of roles and responsibilities as projects progress, contributing to team success. Be involved in a range of interesting and challenging construction projects, with ongoing work available in the pipeline. Skills and Experience A Construction White Card, a valid driver’s license, and your own tools & PPE. A utility vehicle with racks or the ability to transport materials when required. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. The ability to work independently and lead a team. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. A proactive, reliable, and punctual attitude. Experience mentoring and working with apprentices (preferred). A good understanding of math for accurate measurements and material take-offs (if required). The physical ability to perform manual labour as needed. Full‑time position with weekly pay.
